Dr. Stewart is a graduate of Logan University, College of Chiropractic, and Board Certified Chiropractic Physician. Prior to attending Logan University,
Dr. Stewart worked as a Firefighter-Paramedic for 10 years. She was first adjusted when she was a child, after dealing with recurrent ear infections.
After multiple trips to the pediatrician and rounds of medication, Chiropractic was what finally ended her trouble. While she had grown up with Chiropractic care, it was ultimately her work as a Firefighter-Paramedic that led Dr. Stewart to the decision of attending Chiropractic school.
She often saw conditions that could have been prevented if patients had more/better access to preventative medicine services. She felt that "health" was often left out of healthcare, and wanted to provide her patients with more. After a work-related injury left her looking at a new career path, she realized that Chiropractic was the field in which she needed to be in.
Dr. Stewart completed her internship at the VA Hospital in St. Louis, providing care to Veterans and working with those participating in the Chronic Pain Management program. Dr. Stewart also completed her Masters in Nutrition
and Human Performance, while attending Logan University.
Dr. Stewart knows that health, is wealth. She believes that everyone has
the right to live a healthy life and her desire to give the best care possible is
what drives her to never stop learning different ways of helping her patients.
She loves what she does and wants to be able to help as many people in the community that she can. Dr. Stewart provides a personalized approach to quality care, helping you to achieve and maintain your health.
Dr. Stewart has studied many different techniques, but primarily uses a technique called Prone Specific. This technique uses light and gentle manipulations to adjust your spine. Because of this particular technique,
you may not always hear a lot of the "popping" and "cracking" associated
with traditional adjustments, making it a great option for those individuals
who are hesitant about being adjusted. Learn more about the office here!
In her spare time Dr. Stewart enjoys traveling, spending time with her pup, dancing, cycling, and gardening.
